DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!
FALL BACK!
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Matthew 7:13-14
At some point along the way, you may have said something along the lines of, "Well, everyonewas doing it!" You were trying to justify regrettable actions, or convince someone of your reasons. In response, you may have had something said to you along these lines: "Well, if everyone was [insert ridiculous activity], would you do that too?"
With Jesus, there seems to be a related warning here near the end of the Sermon on the Mount.
What is it with us and our tendency to follow the crowd?
Is finding the narrow gate a matter of discernment, or is it a matter trust?
