One could argue James 2:16 is about addressing needs between believing brothers and sisters in the church. It is. But this teaching also applies our generosity beyond the body. Emmaus Road regularly sets aside time and treasure ($$) to put food and supplies in the hands of our neighbors who need them. We could all do this on our own, but it is more effective to combine forces!
