"Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice." Psalm 112:4-5
Tomorrow we have an opportunity to share in being "generous and [lending] freely" as we devote our gathering to hands on service of neighbor and community. We will assemble supplies for our partner ministry, Aurora Commons, to distribute to unsheltered neighbors. Usually, this happens on fifth Sundays (like April 29), but for personnel and logistical reasons, it made sense to push this up a few weeks in Emmaus Road's schedule.
